EMPOWERING SUMMER

one of the highlights from last summer was the world cup, despite the US men’s falling short in the quarters, watching the matches at 4-5am w/ fellow soccer fans was epic. another highlight was my encore trip to Cebu for missions & EN2010..EPIC!!!

one thing I realized about last year was that it was an international summer for me: world up in south africa & missions in the philippines.

this year..it was all about being HOME! My return trip to thailand fell through but in the end, realized it wasn’t meant to be. ‘Camp One’ & Empower3D was all I needed this summer to solidify the call I’ve known for a very long time. Worship and loving God will be and forever will be the call for my life. I am blessed to have THE best seat in the house when the congregation join in one accord to give God glory & praise. After ‘Camp One’, I didn’t know what to expect at Empower3D because youth camp was such a success in terms of planning as well as lives being touched! But knowing our ‘thoughts are higher than our thoughts & ways our higher than our ways’ God..He revealed even more how much He loves us and wants to empower us.

I remember the days when the college ministry was a measly 150-200 ppl in service and I knew the names of mostly everyone. I was growing in worship leading & maturing overall. Over the past 3-4 years..the 200 ppl in service has grown to 550+ from last nights epic close to the retreat.

seeing the growth of this ministry reminds me of why I do what I do. Seeing hundreds of people walk through the doors of the LCC theater being touched by God is the one thing I will continually strive for. It’s what I’m called to do..whether I grow older to become a ‘worship pastor/director’ or not, this is what I live for and am wired to do. Never wouldve thought I’d be doing God’s will in terms of full time ministry, but then again..who knows what God is gonna do to us when we allow Him to be Lord & Saviour.

I pray that Empower3D isn’t just an event people got energized at and will never follow through and continually live their lives fully devoted to God.

THIS IS OUR MOMENT! WE ARE THE GENERATION! LETS TAKE OUR CAMPUSES, FAMILIES, THE MARKET PLACE BY STORM!!!
